During the meeting of the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine, it was possible to identify priorities for regions and communities that need to be built to strengthen our stability.
This is the opinion of Ihor Taburets, head of Cherkasy region military administration.
“Extremely important issues regarding the registration of veterans, their support and receipt of social benefits were considered. We heard the specific terms when these mechanisms will appear and be implemented. We saw the priorities, how we should build and strengthen our sustainability. Especially against the background of the actualization of shelling of energy facilities, areas that are closest to the contact line. I am convinced that it makes us stronger. This unites us around our President. And we are moving further towards victory,” he said.
Ihor Taburets also emphasized that the Congress site unites representatives of various levels of government and provides an opportunity for communication and cooperation.
“We see cohesion and prioritization of the issues under consideration. If earlier we raised issues from communities that related to roads and the like, now we see that the most pressing issues are about the support of the Armed Forces, it is about the policy towards veterans and their family members, the stability of the state, the energy system,” says the head of the Cherkasy RMA.
In the Cherkasy region, considerable attention is currently being paid to the rehabilitation of military personnel and their family members.
“Today we have several programs to support veterans and their families. These are the regional Care programs, and the regional support program, rehabilitation program. We have already created a clear system of rehabilitation departments and centers. We recently opened a 30-bed rehabilitation center at the regional medical institution. Today, we are working very actively to build a rehabilitation center on the basis of a hospital for war veterans,” said Ihor Taburets.
