Artem Lysohor, head of the Luhansk RMA, spoke about the region’s international cooperation. According to him, currently the aim of working with foreign partners is to help the residents of the region and provide them with housing.
“Unfortunately, due to the fact that the territory is almost occupied, we cannot fully restore the buildings, as our colleagues from Kyiv do, for example. But we emphasized the humanitarian component. We also participate in many programs. For example, those that allow residents of Luhansk region to get housing in other regions. With the International Organization for Migration and the Government, we worked on a project, according to which 527 families were able to get housing in the Lviv region,” Artem Lysogor emphasized.
The head of the Luhansk region also noted that the region continues to establish cooperation with international partners. In particular, the Lublin Voivodeship of Poland provides assistance to the Starobil community.
“One of our partner communities, which constantly supports the Starobil Military Administration, is represented at the Summit. This is the Lublin Voivodeship. We had a number of meetings, we came up with memoranda. Representatives of the voivodeship provided humanitarian assistance to the residents of the region, including technical assistance,” said Artem Lysogor.
According to the head of the Luhansk OVA, the Summit site has a positive effect on the establishment of relations between communities and countries. After all, direct communication takes place on this site.
