The Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine is an effective mechanism where problems can be voiced and concrete decisions can be made.

This is the opinion of the head of Poltava region military administration Philip Pronin.

“What I saw is that the Congress is an effective mechanism for voicing problems and making concrete decisions. I can say about the communities that we have in the region: we resolved the issues that were raised at the last Congress in a few months. I believe that it is quite fast and constructive,” he said.

Philip Pronin also noted that the most important issues that are currently on the agenda in the regions were raised at the Congress meeting held on April 12 in Chernivtsi. These are, in particular, issues of security, economic development, social support and guarantees.

However, there are also those issues that are the most important in the framework of discussions on the Congress floor.

“The most important thing we should gain from this congress is to overcome the energy problems that are currently arising in communities. We are talking about cogeneration, decentralization of electricity production. And I believe that these are exactly the things that we will face in the coming years,” Philip Pronin emphasized.

As for the Poltava region, according to the head of the OVA, this region is a rear area, where many people are brought from the frontline areas.

Currently, the focus of the regional authorities is focused on the activities of orthopedic centers that receive the injured, enable them to recover and receive all the necessary services.
