Currently, the pace of reconstruction of Ukraine is high, and the prospects are good. However, foreign countries should be more involved in this process.
This is the opinion of the communication attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine Tomas Matuliavichisos.
“The prospects for the reconstruction of Ukraine are, of course, good. But you have to try a little harder to do something. I mean foreign countries to make more efforts. But I will note that gradually the pace is growing, countries are connecting. More and more communities have sister cities, and we can see how regions are being rebuilt, building storage facilities, critical infrastructure and other facilities that are needed for the future of Ukraine,” he said.
Thomas Matuliavichis also emphasized that the pace of recovery of Ukraine is high. But foreign partners should pay attention to all regions of the country, not just those on the front line.
“Of course, foreign countries should develop cooperation with the regions, regions and cities of Ukraine. Sign memoranda and work on specific objects. Because not only those regions affected by the war need help. I mean the issues of education, bomb shelters, rehabilitation centers. There are many directions where you can still work”, – believes the representative of the Lithuanian embassy.
In turn, the Republic of Lithuania is already providing assistance in the rehabilitation of military personnel. In particular, a program was created to create rehabilitation centers in Lviv, Dnipro and Zhytomyr regions.
