Currently, the key issues for the Kyiv region are the recovery of the region, energy security, as well as the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities.
This was reported by the head of Kyiv region military administration Ruslan Kravchenko.
“Firstly, this is the restoration of Kyiv region. To date, we have restored 17,000 facilities together with communities, the Government, the President, and international partners. We continue this work. It is also the security of the region — construction and repair of new shelters, restoration of social infrastructure. These are hospitals, kindergartens and schools. Energy security is also a priority. After the attack on the Trypilska thermal power plant, we have to work today. The President gave the task to prepare for the heating season,” said the head of the Kyiv RMA.
They are also planning to create a new rehabilitation center in Kyiv region in cooperation with the USA and European countries.
“We have preliminary results. At the request of the President, he went on a business trip to the United States of America. We have a prior agreement. And now a large team of engineers from the USA and Europe is working on the development of a project for a new rehabilitation center for comprehensive rehabilitation of war victims – both psychological and physical. We want to build a flagship project in full synergy. We expect the start of construction of a new rehabilitation center in May. Furthermore, we will report on this,” Ruslan Kravchenko said.
Also, the head of the Kyiv RMA noted that the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine is an effective mechanism for solving regional problems. Because it contributes to solving specific issues on the ground.
“We all need to work in full synergy. And both the regional government and every community of the Kyiv region have many problems. We will decide and work in the President’s team together with communities in complete unity,” Ruslan Kravchenko emphasized.
